The location was superb and quiet, perfect for unwinding. The caged cockatoo was visibly stressed, so I had to ask staff to give it water. The bird’s enclosure was in poor condition, needed cleaning and a better perch. This Australian native bird should be moved to a setting with other birds.

The resort’s location was charming, with a small‑scale feel, attractive large cabins, a nice pool, and plenty of surrounding greenery. The open kitchen area was available for use. A driver could be arranged for activities, and on‑site wellness was available by request. The breakfast (in‑house) could use more variety, such as yogurt, granola, and whole‑grain bread.
