The welcome was friendly and the owners were very pleasant. Parking was easy on the property with a secure gate, the room was well equipped, clean, and had a large balcony for smokers. The place felt like a little countryside retreat with a nice natural vibe, an unheated pool, and a minimalist breakfast that included a stuffed croissant, an espresso, and a fruit juice. It was well positioned for exploring the area. The unheated pool was a let‑down, especially in early May unless you’re a Viking; the breakfast was basically a joke—just an espresso and stuffed croissant on a cold marble table on the ground floor. They also host events, and we were there for a weekend, so Saturday and Sunday parties didn’t bother us because we were touring the region, but if you want to read quietly by the unheated pool, that’s a miss. It should be clearly stated on the booking site. The owners are friendly, but there’s a huge margin for improvement in breakfast, the cold pool, and the clash with weekend family meals.
