The Chequers Inn

“Great place to stay to explore the island.”

The restaurant served great food with plenty of options, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a small, cozy space with a double bed and not much floor area.

“Very good. We lived the centrality and room with a bed for our daughter.”

The location was convenient and the room itself was superb. Breakfast was good and the morning service was fantastic thanks to a lovely staff member who served us. We booked dinner but were disappointed to be given a table next to a banging toilet door in a noisy section, rather than the more intimate part of the pub we requested when we asked to move.

The hospitality was exceptional, the accommodation clean and comfortable, and the food great. There was nothing really to complain about; it was very lovely.
