The Sands Hotel

It’s not a hotel, it’s a guest house. They could have tidied the rooms daily and provided clean towels.

The sea view was lovely and was a short distance walk to beach and amenities. The hotel did not have a lift and was very hard work getting luggage up to top floor of hotel using 4 flights of stairs , also the fact it did not offer evening meals and the bar was only open on demand. The noise from the sea view room was very annoying ,due to motobikes late at night

“Very well looked after hotel by lovely staff.”

The location was great, 24‑hour access gave us plenty of freedom, parking was easy, and the staff were always lovely to talk to. More soundproofing would help, as we accidentally made noise when returning late one night.

“Great location and friendly staff”

The staff were friendly and helpful, and they let us park our very large vehicle at the rear of the property. The location is great.

“It was a short stay for us we would definitely recommend it”

Lovely owners, everything there we needed. Great location to the town centre. We weren’t due to get in the room till afternoon we arrived 3 hour early and we were welcomed and the room was ready for us. N/A
