The view, cleanliness, attentive service, and pools/bars were great, yet the food, music, lack of English speakers, and parties were disappointing.

The pool was very pleasant, though only after 4 pm, the breakfast buffet was fine, and the specialty restaurant was good, but the room‑service was terrible—just a 2‑star snack service that didn’t even offer a decent burger, the staff attitude was awful, the beer was an inferior lager that could have been Corona, and the alcohol was bad. The bed had no comforter and the blankets were always hanging; a blanket service would be better, and the sofa‑bed for kids should be like in other hotels. The bathroom extractor didn’t work, the water pressure for a shower was poor, and there were no toiletries or complimentary items. The huge water bottles were impractical and wasteful, and it was hard to find milk. Check‑in was dull; we learned online that we could go to Hotel Santa Fe, but there was no pleasant transition. They took photos at the pool without warning, charging 350 pesos per photo. The bellhop was not attentive upon departure, we had to retrieve our own luggage from the cart, the bar lady had a bad attitude, the rock legend show was awful, and the children’s show was the same. The beach, though not part of the hotel, is not suitable for swimming, and in the pool no one approached to offer anything or provide entertainment.

“Very spectacular”

The location was wonderful, the food amazing, some restaurant staff very friendly and professional, but the night show was lacking.
