The TV reception was too poor for today’s standards, with almost no channels and only public broadcasters.

Great location, flexible check‑in. The beds creaked loudly and the room was a bit musty.

The setting is very peaceful and picturesque, yet still well connected by S-Bahn, with very friendly staff, a large room, vintage décor that is charming, and an Italian restaurant opposite. I was able to check in earlier than planned. As a solo traveller I slept well, but the bed creaks with every movement, which would probably bother a partner. Arriving late at night felt a bit eerie because the reception opposite the restaurant was already closed and I was left alone among dark buildings; the Wi‑Fi kept dropping and had to be refreshed constantly.

Tastefully furnished. The location offers a biotope/ lake and a railway museum. The food and restaurant are recommended.
