The bathroom was larger than in comparable Japanese hotels and the sleepwear had a button closure that kept me warm; I could walk from the arcade straight to Hirome Market without getting wet, and although the parking was outside, the staff clearly explained the location, making it easy to use. However, the arcade entrance is only accessible on foot, so the car navigation leads to the back of the building; there is a single sign on the rear, but it doesn’t look like a typical hotel entrance, so finding it while driving is tricky.

Being close to the bustling street was handy and having a smoking room kept me comfortable; there really wasn’t any particular drawback.

The hotel sits right in the shopping arcade, so stepping out puts you among many stores and a Taiwanese dessert shop right across the street; the only downside was that the price was a little steep.

The personnel were courteous and made me feel good, but the bathroom smelled of dampness, I couldn’t tell if the exhaust fan was on, and the tub drained poorly, which was unpleasant.
