The place was really good!! It’s right in front of the ferry and they serve meals that you can pre‑order via WhatsApp so they’re ready for you. The staff member was very attentive and the room was nice, spacious, and had air conditioning. It also had a small mirror, wardrobe, and table. The only downside was the lack of natural light, but that didn’t bother me. The location itself is excellent and the entrance is very pretty.

Almost everything impressed me. Maalos is a quiet local island you can cross in any direction in about 15 minutes, clean, green and very peaceful. The inn is a small house by the harbour with a spacious Scandinavian‑style room and a bathroom equipped with the typical Maldives shower; everything was spotless and tranquil. The owner stayed in touch constantly and solved any issue, and the little courtyard was perfect for drying swimsuits, fins and the like. If you didn’t bring your own, fins and masks were available from the owner. In the shared lounge there was a kettle with tea and coffee and even an ironing board. Plenty of UK‑type sockets were provided, though using an adaptor is safer. A wonderful empty beach with a decent house reef was nearby, and the owner could arrange a trip to the nearest reef for a look. It would be nice if the owner finished the roof canopy so there’s a place to sit in the evening; remember this isn’t a resort or a nightlife hub but a quiet local village living its own life, so anyone seeking extra entertainment or a lively night scene should look elsewhere.

The host's warm welcome set the tone for our stay at this unassuming island retreat. Fresh coconuts and a thorough introduction to the property and island got us off to a great start. The food was top-notch, and a convenient gear-drying area at the entrance was a thoughtful touch. We loved watching the fishing boats return to the nearby harbor in the evenings, adding to the island's laid-back charm. The locals were friendly and made our stay even more enjoyable.
