The location, the views, the animals roaming around, and the beautiful lodge itself—this was my second visit, and I’ll keep looking for reasons to return.

The Last Dollar Range Lodge is a real gem for unwinding, tucked right in the woods and a nice pit stop between Prince Rupert and Jasper. The cabin is well equipped and the owners are super friendly, making you feel right at home. The only hiccup was Cabin 1’s tiny, non‑flush toilet – a bit of an adjustment, but the kitchen and shower still had normal water hookups.

We had a great stay and got an unexpected upgrade to The Dutch Treat, a spacious house with everything we needed. The place was nicely decorated, the staff were friendly, and the surroundings were beautiful. We even saw cows roaming the ranch and spotted a black bear, a porcupine, and a dark fox just outside.

Lovely little lodge by the river, lovingly furnished and fully equipped. We slept great in the comfy beds. The gravel drive was a bit rough, and the loud squeak of the outdoor toilet door was annoying.
