The room had just been freshly renovated, but it had no windows, and the area under the bed was dirty with plastic lying around; the hotel itself is 300 m away, and the car parking is on a narrow street.

They tried to charge me €20 in stay fees instead of the €8 that was advertised.

These are the references for Hotel Costa D'oro where I stayed in Salve, along with photos of the offer. The "Residence Perla-Costa" is not located at via Cavalieri di Vittorio Veneto 79, where there is only a villa, and the phone number listed on the booking confirmation does not exist. The lack of accurate information could have been worse, but it was mitigated by arriving at the destination during the day and by the cooperation of the resident at the wrong address.
