“Clean and warm but a little far out of town”

It was clean and warm. The hotel is far from town, so we had to call for a ride because we were hiking, but the staff were very nice and brought us there. I would have preferred it to be closer to town.

The breakfast was excellent, featuring only local products and almost everything organic. The mountain setting is convenient for passing traffic. However, the staff were unfriendly, barely greeting guests, and in the evening restaurant the plates were merely handed over instead of served, with a nod or a waving hand to indicate we should take utensils off the plate. The dinner food was mediocre and pricey—25 € for a salad that was fresh but, for example, the meat smelled like old lamb. It was the end of the season, so there were no ice cubes and the staff often smoked indoors even with children present. The swing and toys were removed because the season had ended, despite us staying with kids. The bunk beds lacked proper protection, so our child fell out while playing. The rooms were old but clean.
