Hotel Neckarlux in Heidelberg offers modern, light-flooded rooms with flat-screen TVs and south-facing views of the Neckar river. The hotel is an 8-minute bus ride from Heidelberg's Old Town and near the Odenwald forest. A hearty breakfast is available for an extra fee, and regional and international dishes are served in the evening.

The view of the river is beautiful. The breakfast was good, but the price of 17,- € seemed high considering the space and the way it was served.

The place sits right on the Neckar, which is great. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was clean. The rooms could use a modernization, the breakfast was okay, but the coffee was inedible and only served from a large pot.
