Our Keynvor Apartment, spanning two floors, is conveniently located just 30 metres from the hotel and available for booking on a nightly basis. This split-level accommodation offers a unique blend of seclusion, adaptability, and access to the hotel's amenities, making it an attractive choice for couples seeking a romantic getaway, families with children under 16 looking for a seaside break, or casual gatherings of friends and family. Upon entry on the lower level, guests will find a spacious open-plan lounge and dining area on the upper floor, accompanied by a compact kitchenette equipped with an oven, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, and tea and coffee facilities. The sleeping quarters and bathroom are situated on the lower floor. A designated parking space is assigned to this apartment. Note that apartment check-in commences at 4pm, with check-out by 10am, differing from the schedule for the hotel's main rooms.

“Nice base for a few days exploring.”
The price was better than renting an apartment in town, the room was tidy and the breakfast was decent. The bathroom had a shower over a tub and the room was dim because there was no window; the bed was only about a three‑quarter size, not a full double. The location was fine, but the walk back up from St Ives was steep, and after a long day of walking it wasn’t the easiest climb.
The sea view from our room was the best I’ve ever seen, with amazing greenery and a lovely woodland; the surroundings were stunning. We were close to the beach, restaurants, and shops, so we didn’t use our car all week. The staff were polite everywhere and had a great sense of humor. Our room was a fantastic size, the main bed very comfortable, and the swimming pools—inside and out—were great. I received an amazing neck/back massage and a luxury pedicure. Thank you, all staff were amazing. I did miss fresh vegetables for breakfast, like cucumbers and salads, and there was no fruit to take with us such as apples or bananas. Dinner options were limited and pricey. The floor in our room squeaked, and the sofa bed for my child was a bit uncomfortable. The bathroom had some mold on the tiles that had only been painted over.

The location and view are good. The hotel is old and didn’t provide basic toiletries such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, or disposable slippers.
The gardens were nicely trimmed and the surroundings pleasant. The golf course needed more upkeep, and the indoor pool was shut down for maintenance.

We asked reception, who told housekeeping to clean the odor, but it didn’t help. I’d expect this to be improved for a good hotel like this.
