The facility itself was spot‑on. The staff seemed to be in holiday mode, with front‑desk help useful but the bar and kitchen staff too busy to serve properly.

The bed space in the bedroom is wider than usual, which is appreciated, and the pool is great. The bathrooms aren’t clean and aren’t very comfortable, and the bathroom facilities feel neglected.

A friendly staff member, a clean capsule, and a larger capsule than other hostels. Some facilities need repair, the safety box makes noise, and some curtains aren’t attached correctly.

“One of the places I was happy to leave”

The hostel sits in a superb spot, right in the middle of nature yet still central to Pererenan and Canggu. The beds are spacious with plenty of storage, the staff are very friendly, the breakfast is nice and the paid coffee is delicious. The AC works perfectly. However, the location attracts some rude guests who think they’re the center of the universe, setting loud alarm clocks at 5 am or holding video conferences in the dorm at 10 pm or 6 am. The atmosphere wasn’t social at all, with guests keeping to themselves. It was also quite dirty; light switches (see picture) looked never cleaned, rooms need a deep clean and vacuuming, and sometimes there was a lot of dust in the air that’s unhealthy to breathe.
