The staff were kind, the place had a charming vibe, and the facilities – gardens, herb garden, pool, library, lounges – were great. Breakfast was cooked in the kitchen, shared with other guests, and the quality was excellent.

Everything about the place was fine, but the last 5.5 km to reach it were a hassle.

It’s tough to describe, but the mix of peace, location, comfort, privacy, scenery, food, and the staff’s humanity is perfectly balanced. They should recommend staying at least two days; we didn’t even get to enjoy the common areas or the cellar.
