Hotel Waldidyll

We stayed in a bungalow on the hotel grounds, and the setup was perfect for us: a small kitchen/living area, two tiny bedrooms, and a terrace in front of the house. The property itself was beautiful, well‑maintained, and spacious. Our stay was quiet and very relaxing. We added a rich and varied breakfast to our booking. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. The owner gave us many trip suggestions that we all followed. The mattresses were great, and cleanliness was spot‑on. We felt right at home and plan to book again next summer.

The location was excellent, with a beautiful park right on the hotel grounds, and the bungalows were well furnished. No complaints at all.

The breakfast was good with plenty of choices, but the cereal selection was limited, the fruit ran out after an hour, and it wasn’t replenished. The beds couldn’t adjust the headrest, and there was no option to hang a coat in the room—no hooks, which is inconvenient after rain.
