The hotel is super clean, the rooms have balconies, there’s a pool, the setting is forest‑mountain, parking is large, and the staff are friendly.

It’s an older hotel but still very clean and the staff are nice; the grand spaces and superb location deserve a renovation, yet the older rooms keep their appeal. We liked everything except the apartment balcony, where we’d welcome one more chair.
The hotel sits on a hill near Banska Bystrica and is part of a winter ski area. It’s a cozy, old, winding complex that somehow reminds me of my childhood. Parking is free in front of the house. Check‑in was quick and friendly. The price was outstanding, and taking a short walk around the complex in the evening is really relaxing. The breakfast was also a plus, offering a wide selection of cold and hot dishes.

Kids loved the electric cars and there were plenty of outdoor play options. The room, forest, views, great food, large rooms, and pool were all excellent, though the beds and mattresses should be replaced.
