Anna’s houseboat was incredibly comfortable and had everything we needed. The spot was also very convenient, just a short walk from most of the city centre’s attractions. We especially loved the topside deck, where we could watch all the boats glide by.

We fell in love with the houseboat—it was cozy and thoughtfully arranged. Sitting on the roof, sipping a drink while watching the boats drift past was a highlight. The hosts were also extremely helpful, offering great tourist tips.

The setting was excellent, letting you see cruise ships pass beneath the canal bridge; you could enjoy a drink on the houseboat’s roof and wave happily at passengers on the boats. I wish the owner would, in addition to renting bicycles, also offer small boat rentals so you could glide along the canal. Staying on the houseboat was a fun part of my Amsterdam adventure.
