Discover Berlin - Start in Kreuzberg

“Arbeitsaufenthalt; zum kurzen verweilen/schlafen völlig optimal.”

The host was extremely nice, the location was great, the room was small but clean with a pleasant mattress. The bathroom was fine, towels and shower shampoo were provided, Wi‑Fi worked, and free coffee was available in the morning. I even got a draft beer, and I’d stay again.

“Ekelhaft und nie wieder!”

I’m not sure if breakfast was offered, but I had a relatively quiet stay, which I liked, though nothing else impressed me. There was a hole in the farthest back courtyard that made me uneasy about leaving my belongings in the room. Outside, right at the neighbor’s entrance, people sprayed something in the mornings – I’ve never felt so sick and wanted to leave Berlin immediately. The bed was so high and the steps so narrow that I tried to climb as little as possible, which was awful. And for the price I can’t believe what I paid – it wasn’t even half the value.

There are good Turkish food options nearby, but the hallway had a strong smell.

“Guter "Last minute-Preis" aber nicht empfehlenswert.”

The spot in Kietz is convenient, with good public transport and a relatively quiet third courtyard. The building feels quite “rocked out” and not very clean; the stairwell smells strongly of stale smoke, and everything else is worn out, including the frayed curtains on the windows.

“Alles gut für einen kurzen Aufenthalt”

I liked how easy it was to communicate, the place was very clean and quiet, but it felt a bit plain.
