The Deluxe Double was a top floor room with slanted ceilings; you had to bend over in places, even to look in the bathroom mirror you had to kneel. There was no wardrobe, so we had to live in the suitcase for a whole week. The booking confirmation promised dressing rooms, a wardrobe, bathrobe, house slippers – none of that existed. Breakfast was a seven‑day menu with the same cold cuts; a fried egg required an extra charge. The hotel’s advertising is, to put it mildly, unserious.

I especially enjoyed the quiet of the location and the table‑served breakfast in a cozy, tastefully decorated setting. Basically nothing else… I might have added a minibar to the room.

“Very pleased to have found this picturesque hotel resort”

The grounds were stunning, staff were great. The rooms were on the first floor; I arrived late at night and there was no lift, so be careful if you have heavy luggage.

A really beautiful property with plenty of space and quiet. The old buildings are nicely renovated, and the pool is great!

“Pleasant but a bit lacking in room/hotel facilities”

Clean, roomy rooms with AC, and the pool is nice. However, there aren’t many food options during the day—only one restaurant opens in the evening—and breakfast is a bit underwhelming. On top of that, you can’t bring food into the rooms and there’s no mini‑fridge, so it’s unclear what you’re supposed to do if you’re staying for a relaxing time on the farm.
