The hotel is also near Basilica of Santa Croce and Ponte Vecchio, with Santa Maria Novella Station a 20-minute walk away.

The location was great and the rooms with balconies were excellent, but there was no daily cleaning or towel replacement. We were told from the start that the bathroom was shared, yet the shower was placed right in the middle of the room, surrounded by a curtain that didn’t really give any privacy. If it had been a different setup I could have given the shower full marks, but it made things very difficult for the three of us traveling together.

The location was really excellent. Check‑in and storage were smooth. I loved my room—it had everything I needed and was very peaceful. The bed was comfy, no air‑con but a plug‑in fan was handy. The shared bathroom was never an issue and always super clean. I totally enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend. The only thing was the sheets felt a bit rough, and a street‑view photo of the entrance would be nice.

The place sits in a fantastic spot and looks gorgeous, every detail is carefully tended. The bathroom is brand‑new, fully equipped, and the shower is amazing. There’s no breakfast, but you’ll find a coffee machine, tea, and a small fridge for guests. One night the heat in Florence was intense, opening the window didn’t help, the fans in the room were weak, and we ended up feeling very hot.

The spot is excellent, with coffee and other drinks available in the morning, and a small fridge for guests. A fan is in the room and the bedding is good. I stayed several nights; only one night had a problem because some noisy guests didn’t respect others. It’s a matter of etiquette—people are careful with noise in the evening or early morning. The shared showers are also very clean. I can’t understand how some manage to splash water everywhere when they just need to close the glass shower door.

The house is newly renovated and feels unique, not a standard hotel. However, it isn’t wheelchair‑friendly – stairs and steps line the corridors, and the toilets and showers are located outside the rooms.
