The staff were very alert and attentive, the breakfast on the balcony was superb, the location is great, and the sauna with pool was very enjoyable; the hotel does feel a bit dated.

A hotel perched beautifully on Szar Planina, over 1750 m above sea level, offered us a spacious, well‑equipped apartment with two bedrooms, a kitchenette, a bathroom, and a balcony overlooking the mountains. We enjoyed a delicious dinner in the hotel’s beautifully arranged panoramic restaurant, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, parking was available, and the whole trip was a complete relaxation.
