Roberto was a kind and helpful host, and a special thanks to Josefh for his willingness and friendliness, and to Assan who escorted us to the airport shuttle in the middle of the night. The kitchen was high‑level and the cleanliness was perfect. I highly recommend it. Nothing else.

We stayed at Roberto’s riad again and it was wonderful and beautiful. Everyone at the Riad is super friendly and makes you feel at home. Thanks to Yousef, Ismael, Simo and Roberto. No complaints.

Riad Azahar felt like a gorgeous oasis away from the noisy Medina, just a 10‑minute walk from the chaotic Djemaa el‑Fnaa, and it seemed a million miles away. The staff—Yusef, Ismael, Simo, Roberto, the housekeeping and kitchen team—were delightful and super helpful, making me feel taken care of and safe. Breakfast each morning was superb. I’d stay at Riad Azahar again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Marrakesh. It was a bit hard to find on our own, though Simo met us at the square where the taxi dropped us off; I’m directionally challenged.

The Riad, the staff, and the experience was superb. We were a bit concerned about some negative comments which included some complaints about noise, location, the riad itself. The complaints, in our opinion, are completely unfounded. how is there going to be any noise when the street is a tertiary street, away from the hustle and bustle? The staff were very welcoming, very attentive and friendly. The room was perfect, and so were the rest of facilities. The dinner offer was excellent, and having the little pool at the top was a fantastic add-on to cool off on the high heat summer days. If we go back to Marrakech definitely we will go back. Unfortunately the 2023 earthquake has affected the nearby properties significantly, so that means that some ruined properties are still under the rubble, and in some cases there's garbage accumulating in the ruins. Some of the ruined properties are used by marginal people, which can feel a bit eerie. Hopefully the restoration of the ruined properties advances and the streets can recover their full functionality
