The chance to discover a special and different place than expected in Amsterdam was great, but to stay calm you need to be a bit away from the city.

The yacht’s atmosphere was nice, the beds were fine, and there was an incredible amount of equipment for such a small space—very practical, and the fan is really helpful and essential in summer!

What a wonderful experience, we were two couples and everyone agreed! The welcome was great, with little touches, the bedding was superb, close to a beautiful park, forest for walks, bike rides to explore Amsterdam’s surroundings, and about a 10‑minute walk to the metro—highly recommended! And yes, the shower isn’t Italian‑style but it has the charm of the boat! 😉 No complaints at all.

“Viel Atmosphäre, kein Standard. Gerne wieder.”

We met a very friendly host and everything ran smoothly; the public transport is quick to reach and you just end up in the city center. This was our first night on a boat and every expectation was met. The vibe is unique and we felt very comfortable, so we can see ourselves booking again on the Almaz.

We stayed two nights in an ideal spot for a short trip. Mr. Gros was very helpful and friendly, even preparing a small surprise at the start of our stay. The harbor is a short walk from the tram and metro, about 20 minutes to the city center. The boat hardly moves, except when walking on board or the pier. The location is quiet and easily accessible. We would definitely return; it was a great experience at a good price. On the boat there's only a temporary toilet; the next one is about 10 m away in the harbor and unfortunately shared with other boats of Mr. Gros. Luckily we didn't run into many other guests, but in peak season it could be worse.
