Located on Cape Cod's Nantucket Sound in South Yarmouth, Massachusetts, Red Jacket Beach Resort offers a private beach, outdoor pool with ocean views, and indoor pool. Tennis, shuffleboard, and spa services are available on-site. The resort features a dining room, outdoor terrace, and barbecue grill, as well as The Crows Nest restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The beach access, chairs, and umbrellas were great. The interior restaurant could use more ambience, better lighting, and a refreshed look—it currently feels like a cafeteria.

The hotel was clean and we loved the beach, but the pool was overcrowded.

The beach was great, but there were no lifeguards on duty and the white beach towels were low quality.

Our grandsons had a blast at the pools and fishing docks, where we also crabbied; the menu at Tides and Tavern was limited but the food surprisingly tasty and the service excellent, and the children’s menus for both dinner and breakfast were excellent. The room that houses the indoor pool was way too humid and hot, even at night, and parking is a challenge, especially after returning from dinner off site; it’s odd that you must pay to park—given the room rates—at the resort.
