The staff were genuinely helpful, giving solid recommendations for food and activities. Padre, in particular, assisted us with bike rentals, suggested a top “locas” restaurant, located a cheap barber, and went the extra mile to help us return the bike when we left. The location works well for reaching the best beaches, and the mosque’s 5am morning preaching didn’t disturb us, while the distance from town is close enough for easy access yet far enough to avoid the chaos. The mattress was awful—metal springs were always felt and pressed into your back. At the time of my visit, the hotel was still under construction and didn’t feel like a boutique property. The shower floor was sloped wrong, causing the bathroom to flood every shower, leaving a constant puddle around the toilet. There was no safe or fridge in the room. I parked my motorbike with a full tank of petrol in the parking lot one night, only to find it ⅔ empty the next morning, and the staff gave me blank looks when I mentioned it.

“Angenehmer Aufenthalt!”
The rooms were really nice, the pool was great, and the hosts were friendly. You can feel comfortable there! It would have been helpful to have rules for the pool chairs; we couldn’t leave clothes or shoes outside because of the dogs, and we were a bit worried the dogs might not get enough food (they didn’t bother us otherwise and are very friendly).

We appreciated the layout and space of the property, though it’s still a work in progress. The location is far from the main road, and we had to guess where to go because no one could explain how to get there; it would help to have a local contact number instead of just the owner’s.
This hotel was amazing—spotlessly clean and well maintained, and the pool area was lovely. The staff were fantastic, arranging bike rentals and an airport transfer for us. Pandre was extremely friendly and made our stay memorable. Overall we had a great time and would definitely return. The only downside was the location being a bit off the beaten path, about a 25‑minute walk into town, but scooter rental was easy because they organized it for us.
