The room was clean, the layout was good, and the service at Lionels was amazing. The food was tasty, but in the room we could hear people going up and down the stairs.

The staff were fantastic, and the location is superb.

The place sits nicely overlooking Lake Taupo, and the bedroom is spacious with a comfy bed. The bathroom is also large, though a bit chilly, which was expected for that time of year. Parking was straightforward. No other issues to mention.

Shower - AMAZING Room we were in was great as we had kids so it was conveniently located by the playground Electric blankets were a great asset. Panel heater was put on 4 hours before we went to bed (in room) but didn’t heat the room up at all. Very small bathroom for the numbers it’s accomodating for
