The spot at the village’s end and the porch with chairs by the river were great.

Being close to Tortuguero’s center and looking out over the national park, you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner with canal views. The facilities feel old, the bed is too big for the room, and the room offers little privacy.

The location is a bit away from the bustle and right on the lagoon’s edge.

The hosts were very nice and friendly. The place is perfect, just a short walk from the main dock, souvenir shops, restaurants, and the ocean shore is only 5 minutes away. It’s an ideal spot to enjoy Tortuguero, and everyone in the village is super friendly and helpful. The trips you can book there are also amazing.
