The place was convenient, clean, and comfortable, the mattress was good, and it worked for an overnight stop on our New England trip, but the furnishings were a bit rustic, and there was no working ice machine.

Got along great with the staff and the spot was spot on for what I needed, and the price matched what I was willing to pay for a solo stay. The hallway was a bit noisy because the kitchen and laundry were right next to my room, and the kitchen itself was messy and dirty with a nasty sink.

The place was in a nice spot and easy to get to, but the bed was a touch uncomfortable, though not terrible.

I really appreciated how the owner was warm and helpful; he hasn’t increased his rates since I visited in 2022, four years ago. I love the location just outside Bethel, ME, and the motel still keeps the old‑time charm I enjoy. The rooms are a bit small and there’s no coffee in the room, which some might find egregious, but there’s a Dunkin’ five minutes away. Bethel itself is charming and has a great gem and mineral museum.
