“A lovely hotel that let itself down quite badly.”

The reception, concierge, bar, and restaurant teams were all incredibly friendly and professional, and the food at the restaurant was delightful. The bed felt exceptionally comfortable, and the decor matched the lush vibe I expected. However, the floor in my room squeaked loudly whenever I moved, the key didn't slide smoothly, and the shower in my son's room turned on randomly during the night. The breakfast I paid for was cold, the staff seemed uninterested when I pointed out the moldy cheese I had brought, and they left the plates on the table afterward; vegan pastries were missing entirely. The breakfast service was very poor and nowhere near 5‑star quality.

“Absolutely beautiful hotel, customer service is second to none.”

The setting was stunning, the building and rooms spotless, and I couldn't find anything to complain about.

“The most disappointing sandwich of my life”

The location and the building were good, but the steak sandwich I ordered was the worst meal I've ever had; the meat was greasy and awful. I paid about 40 pounds for one sandwich and a water, and while I’m not upset about the cost, the quality of the food was unacceptable.
