Wonderful and large, very close to the center. They welcomed us with tea and were amazing! Everything was fine.

The room was very clean and modern. There was no buffet, but the breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of food—large fruit platter, breads, cakes, hoppers, and more. Everything was delicious and more than we could eat. The staff were very friendly and super helpful, and I’d stay again.

“Nice place outside town”

I always start my reviews of Sri Lankan hotels with this: most smaller hotels are family businesses aiming to survive, not to dominate. The owners and staff are very polite and helpful, with a universally friendly and accommodating attitude. The room was a good size, comfortable, with good water pressure and Wi‑Fi. It’s not close to the busy main town, but a small restaurant about 200 metres toward the city serves fresh local cuisine at unbelievably low prices, like US$2 for a main dish. It’s a bit far from the main town for walking, but a tuk‑tuk makes it easy.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and spacious, and the breakfast was generous and delicious, featuring both Sri Lankan and Western dishes prepared with love. The hotel was within walking distance of Kandy’s center and was very quiet.
