We had a superior deluxe 2‑person room with garden (pool) and sea view. Beautiful location, very quiet, very clean. The secret Gili tour from the hotel is a must‑try. There were few options outside the hotel.

“On s’attendait à mieux”

The hotel was decent overall, but our stay felt pretty average. The biggest drawback was its location: there’s nothing nearby, so finding a restaurant, a bar, or just walking around is hard. Every time we wanted to go out, we had to take a taxi or scooter. We also noticed the pool and its surroundings looked better in the photos than in reality, which was a bit disappointing. There were a lot of mosquitoes in the room.

“Good if you get a deal but not worth full price”

The private plunge pool was a relief in the heat, and the room was huge with a massive bathroom. The area is very quiet, only occasional trucks or bikes on the road. Leaving the property requires some transport, but we only ate at the on‑site restaurant. Laundry turned around quickly, which was appreciated. We got a great deal (~50% off) but the price felt a little steep for what we got. The rooms and outdoor areas clearly need maintenance. Reception staff were friendly, but the restaurant staff seemed apathetic—perhaps because the hotel was mostly empty. The gado‑gado we had for lunch was delicious, but the same dish at dinner was nowhere near as good.

“Bel emplacement pour visiter les Secrets Gili”

Its spot is right across from the Secrets Gili, and the private pool overlooking the beach is a plus. The breakfast, however, didn’t live up to the hotel’s standard in terms of variety and quality.
