“Great food and welcoming staff”

The building’s character, history and enduring features stood out, unlike modern hotels that focus on squeezing more guests into crowded dining areas with few relaxing breakout spots. I found nothing to dislike about the entire stay.

The staff were very welcoming. We requested an earlier check‑in or a place to change clothes, and they accommodated us. The room was lovely, unique, and full of architectural details. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom amenities plus the small touches made the stay delightful. There was nothing we would change.
