Everything was fine except the bathroom counter was dirty; the only issue was that the shampoo was left out and the counters weren’t cleaned.

The rooms are huge, super roomy, and feel like home.

The room was spotless and roomy, the kitchen looked nice but lacked utensils so we had to run the dishwasher every day; the pool was attractive and well maintained but at 110+ degrees it wasn’t refreshing, we tackled early‑morning hikes before the oppressive heat, the fitness center was good and free coffee in the morning was a plus. The kitchen could use more gear—only about 4 or 5 of each utensil, many drawers were empty, and some had just a few items.

The rooms and pools are great and very clean, yet a fire alarm went off at midnight, no staff were on site so it took over an hour to reset, we couldn’t get hot water, and the technician—who was very pleasant—explained that the water heaters are shared among several rooms so we may have showered while another room had already used up the hot water. Really!

It’s close to the lake, the pools are pleasant, and the room was great, but the alarms rang for about 45 minutes in the middle of the night.
