Overall the place was tidy, quiet, and well‑situated close to the dining area. The main downside was the lack of parking at the entrance; you had to check in first to learn where to park. The indoor parking costs 10 NZD, and the tram costs 15 NZD—something I’ve never encountered at any other hotel in my time.

Everything was there: the pool, the park, the shops nearby, and the beach. It was pricey, but that’s the norm for this kind of place.

The pool, hot pool, beach access, and the staff made for an amazing stay—highly recommended! The only thing that would improve it is if room service could set down the beds for you.

All the family‑friendly activities were spot on: a silent disco on the beach, a scavenger hunt, beautiful accommodation, ample milk, a convenient location, and plenty of parking. It felt like an overseas holiday. The only constructive criticism is that the beds were just okay, and the price was a bit steep.
