River Kwai View Hotel Kanchanaburi

“It did the job. Good for an overnight stay, but not somewhere I’d choose for a vacation.”

The river view is beautiful for falling asleep and waking up. We just needed a place for one night in a good location, so it fit us well. The staff was very helpful. The place is very basic and outdated.

“Decent hotel for an overnight stay. At the river, but food and all else isn't walking distance.”

The hotel was clean and straightforward; a room with a balcony overlooking the river offers a nice view, and the staff were friendly. The walls were a bit thin, so soundproofing could improve, and breakfast was just average.

The location and view were great, and the inclusive breakfast was really good. However, noisy neighbours were partying and the thin walls let the sound through.

The place was close to the river and the Bridge over the River Kwai. There was no food other than breakfast, but plenty of restaurants were nearby.

The location was good. The rooms were dirty, and workers were present from morning to evening. They tried to wash new white shirts we received back pink and blamed us. My friend had a bucket of water thrown in his head on the terrace. The cleaning was above the standard.
