The views were wonderful. The hotel offered activities such as a pool table, children’s play area, sauna, mini‑theatre, and table tennis. Maybe there was a language barrier, but it was okay.

The hotel sits a bit off the beaten path but offers nice scenery, good prices, solid facilities, and decent staff, making it a great value for anyone seeking a quiet, relaxing stay—better suited for me than the InterContinental at Qiandao Lake, whose balcony was far too small; note that sun‑seekers should avoid the first half of the year because it’s mostly rainy and cloudy, which can bore children. The only downside is transport, though most guests have cars, so it’s not a big issue for them.
