Breakfast was great, the staff were super friendly and professional, the rooms are huge, very well equipped, and the style is strict. The on‑site parking is relatively tight and potentially dangerous, and charging €22 per night for a dog feels quite high compared to other hotels.

“Wie immer Top und wir kommen bestimmt wieder !”

This time I only stayed for one night, yet it was still worth the extra detour (this was my fourth or fifth visit). The food was, as usual, great, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful, which keeps bringing us back. We’ll definitely return, whether in spring, summer, or autumn. What I miss is the lack of charging spots for electric cars in the underground parking. The Saltauserhof garage I usually book (which normally costs a small daily fee) has no charging capability. If there were a way to charge an electric vehicle overnight, that would be fantastic. Unfortunately, few hotels are willing to invest here, something I noticed on my current trip to Italy – all the hotels I’ve stayed in Austria and Italy share this issue. There is a NEOGY charging station across from the Hirzer Seilbahn, but the kW/h rates are quite steep. A wall‑box charger in the hotel garage would be great, maybe it could happen – that would be top.

The rooms are generous for a double used by one person. The hotel feels cozy, the breakfast is fine, and the price/value matched nicely.
