The room was simple and nice, the bathroom was clean, and the location was very close to the cruise terminal—just a walk away. The area was interesting with a laundromat, café, Mexican street shop, and lunch packs instead of breakfast, which was practical for the whole day; cafés and water/juice were also available. The ferry dock was about 10 minutes away with great rides over the East River or Hudson. Only plastic cutlery and similar items were provided, and the subway was a relatively long walk, about 15 minutes. The ferry dock was 10 minutes or 30 minutes depending on the direction, so walking around was preferable. The nearest Avis car rental was also about 30 minutes on foot. The industrial zone meant it was never completely quiet, which is typical in NY.

The location was great, the place was clean, and check‑in and parking were easy, yet the breakfast was just a ham and cheese sandwich that my husband—who can eat anything—found inedible, and the coffee was undrinkable.

The rooms were large, very clean, and the bathroom was comfortable; the mattress was very cozy, but the underground room was a drawback.

The staff were really helpful and the room was spotless, but guests in other rooms kept knocking on the wall while claiming they were trying to sleep, the TV volume was low, and the light was yellow instead of white, making the room dimmer; I hope they change that so future stays are more comfortable.
