The setting was beautiful, the accommodation cozy, and the sundeck bar perfect for watching sunsets. 1808 offered fresh cooking, but it was only open on certain nights or when at least 12 people were booked and the weather allowed. The buffet‑style dinner, lunch, and breakfast were extremely basic, with no fresh cooking except for an egg station in the morning and a different station at night. The “adult only pool until 3 pm” was not truly adult only, as it was not monitored for children even though it was labeled “jacuzzi for adults only,” and children were in it when we were there.
