I noticed the place had a bit of an old‑school vibe, and getting there in the evening was tough because you have to walk through a dark park.

The hotel feels a bit dated but sits right next to the Neckar beach, and it’s super quiet; walking to the old town takes about 30 minutes. Parking is right in front of the building, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fresh and tasty, though the rooms could use a little sprucing up and felt a touch unkempt; the value didn’t match my expectations.

The hotel is about 15 minutes on foot through green areas from the station. It’s old‑fashioned but everything is clean and the staff is friendly. Breakfast is very cheap compared to most hotels and still good. The high edge of the shower cabin could be a problem for the elderly or people with mobility issues.

“Gutes Angebot zur vollen Zufriedenheit zum fairen Preis.”

The spot is fantastic—just a short walk to both the inner and old towns along the Neckar, right by a bike path, next to a public pool, with good public transport and highway links—staff were courteous and efficient, breakfast was tidy and very cheap at €9.60, and the bed was comfortable; I really had nothing to complain about.
