The spot’s great—quiet, surrounded by nature, and you can actually spot monkeys in the trees. A bakery and market are close by, and the little moonlit alley is a treat. The host was super polite. The downside? The shower had no water, and on a cold day the hot tap didn’t work. The TV was glitchy and the remote didn’t cooperate.

The room was spacious, the bed was comfy and spotless, and the AC kept the place cool. Cable TV and a full kitchen were handy, and the area was peaceful yet close to a food scene. From the car, you’re near all the sights—great value overall. The only hiccup was the steep drive into the parking for first‑time drivers.

The host was warm and welcoming, and the nearby forest area was a nice touch—had a chance to see monkeys, which was awesome. It’s a peaceful place, but the bed isn’t the most comfortable and the rooms could use better soundproofing. Plus, the nature vibe had the side effect of waking us up at 6 a.m. with loud birds that sounded like parrots. Other than that, everything was great.
