Wow, absolutely incredible—quirky, homely décor, exceptional breakfast delivered to the room, and a private hot tub that was the cherry on top; after two nights I’d have stayed longer, and everything was perfect, so no negatives, 10.0/10.

A quirky place with a “Traitors” castle vibe, the Cader room offers one of the best views ever, overlooking the mountains of Cader Idris; the room was large, functional, full of interesting artifacts, and the breakfast was delivered to the room; the hot tub was good and private. Minor gripes: central heating turns on in winter—early October would be better—and the fridge is too small, about the size of an A4 sheet, earning a 9.0/10.

Andy was a fantastic host, kind and eager to share local suggestions; the property was stylish and cool, breakfast brilliant, the room well equipped for a continental breakfast or tea, coffee, and hot chocolate; dog friendly, easy parking, and exclusive hot tub use with Cadair Idris and garden views—looking forward to returning, 10.0/10.
