Hostal Marissal by Dorobe

The location is great, and the rooms, towels, and everything else get cleaned daily. It’s a 3‑star hostel, not a 5‑star hotel, so for that standard it’s excellent and nobody would complain.

The location is fantastic, the staff are very friendly, and the rooms are functional. The view is a bit dull, looking out onto the courtyard.

It’s a lovely hostel, the room was clean and it’s central to everything, and I’ve stayed here a few times. I had room 211, which sits on the side of the hotel. I booked for 3 nights and each night there was constant shouting from people using the passage (which couldn’t be helped) but all day and night the air‑con unit from the hotel across the way and the Marisol Hotels outdoor units were humming really loudly, with no break in the sound at all. Then a hotel worker with a large blue bin went up and down the passage 3‑4 times each night; it got to the point where I put in earplugs but could still hear the noises. I mentioned it to reception but was told the hotel was fully booked. The hotel is in an excellent location for everything and it’s a clean and lovely hostel, and I’ve stayed here a few times; it’s just this time I left a bit disappointed.

The property sits in a great spot and the location is excellent. I have absolutely no complaints.
