A villa that’s been beautifully and stylishly renovated with a breathtaking view of the lake; the room was spotlessly clean, and the host always offered helpful advice. During my 14‑day stay in Albania, this was the most gorgeous place to stay, and the surroundings were equally lovely. Thank you, and I highly recommend it.

“The kind of place that gets the important things right”

There are plenty of spots with great views, but what really impressed me was everything beyond the scenery. The location is exceptional, right on Shirokë's gravel beach and next to the Drini Times kayak rental center, so stepping outside feels like being in the neighborhood. The accommodation itself is unusually well finished; the rooms have a beautiful, modern aesthetic and nothing feels flimsy or hastily put together. The design is clean without being sterile, and details have clearly been considered. The family running the place is genuinely friendly, almost disarmingly so, and not the overly polished hospitality you sometimes find in tourist spots; it feels like they’re happy to have you around. I quickly stopped feeling like a customer and became part of the neighborhood. I especially appreciated that the owner runs a small shop inside the property with supermarket prices, no tourist markup, and no sense that convenience costs extra. That combination makes Lake View stand out: fantastic location, excellent modern rooms, honest pricing, and genuinely personal hospitality. It’s clear the place is run with pride. My only complaint is that I didn’t stay longer; I really wish I had booked a few more nights because the setting, room, and welcoming family made leaving feel premature.

“Great stay.”

The location is great, right in front of the lake with easy access across the road for swimming or other water activities. There are good restaurants within walking distance. The hosts are lovely and welcoming, and the accommodation is very comfortable with all necessary amenities available. Nothing else to add.
