“Pleasant stay but improvements needed”

I didn’t have an evening meal because the inn didn’t serve food after 4 pm on a Sunday. The room was very spacious with plenty of cupboard space. The decor was very tasteful and pleasant. The breakfast was adequate but not inviting – and there was no marmalade, only jam. The bath looked great but the water was not hot enough, so my soak was in lukewarm water – I was looking forward to a good soak!

“Very disappointed.”

The location suited our needs, yet the accommodation was poor, overpriced, and offered little value for money; the wallpaper was hanging off the walls. I wouldn't stay again.

“Comfy beds!”

Only a 10‑minute drive from Delbury Halls, the spot was perfect, and the beds were super comfy; the blinds and curtain made it very dark, and the heating was ready for our return in the evening. Everything was very clean and had everything we needed, and the staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast wasn’t the best, but it was a full English with tea, coffee, and orange juice to help yourself.
