Leyton was a great host, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. There was no food in the bar on Monday or Tuesday, which wasn’t clear from the booking, and check‑in and check‑out were a bit disorganised.

The staff were very helpful, but the location was inconvenient because we had to climb up the hill to get to the accommodation, and the room wasn’t cleaned for our second night.

“Beautiful stay, friendly, comfortable and great location.”

The spot was spot on – a short walk down the steps takes you straight to the river and just a few minutes from Iron Bridge. The room and bathroom were spacious, the bed was comfy, and food was on hand from 10 am to 11 pm, which was nice. On the downside, there was no breakfast, though the landlord offered to make us some. A bit more cleaning attention would have been welcome.

“Model Show Stop Over”

The staff were top‑class, the location was spot‑on, and the room more than met our needs. We dined in the pub downstairs both nights and the food was very good. The only thing worth mentioning – not a major complaint – was that the music in the pub stayed loud until at least 1 am; if we’d been downstairs we’d have stayed to enjoy it.

“Brilliant!”

The pub was lovely, with quiet private rooms separate from the main building, so it was really quiet. The room was large and had everything you could need and more. The bed was great, with high‑end pillows and duvet. The pub itself was warm and inviting, the food good, and the staff friendly. There wasn’t a single thing wrong. Leaving.
