The rooms were clean, comfortable, and the beds were stable. However, the hostel’s security left a lot to be desired, especially given its location near a train station. There was no proper door to the building; instead, a simple door with a handle meant anyone could return drunk at night and forget to lock it. Your safety seemed to depend on someone remembering to lock the door. I don’t understand why a more secure door wasn’t installed. When I checked out, a staff member kindly offered to store my luggage, but a café employee was extremely arrogant, shouted at me, didn’t speak English, and yelled something across the street that I only caught the word “stupida.” When I brought the issue to the hotel manager, they were just as dismissive and arrogant as the café worker. If you try to resolve anything with them, expect the same level of arrogance.
