The room was spacious and had comfortable beds, and parking was convenient. The breakfast was okay but lacked any highlights, and the shower cabin had a leak that caused a small overflow on the bathroom floor for both my wife and me.

The room was modern and clean, so we slept well. There was no staff present; we found the key on a table in the courtyard and had to locate the room and breakfast area ourselves. Dinner was missing even though it had been arranged by email beforehand, and there was no staff at breakfast either. Only after we finished did someone—probably the host—appear and ask if everything was okay. Eggs were missing and we couldn’t find the jam ourselves, so the breakfast didn’t match our expectations. We didn’t need much, but what we had was insufficient. The communication and service can only be rated poorly.

Check‑in was quick and hassle‑free, but the mattress felt a bit too firm for me.

Altmühl cycle path, good place for a stopover, easy to reach by bike. The breakfast room feels a bit outdated and the breakfast was average.
