The hotel sits right on the ocean, with a private beach just outside the property. Everything was spotless, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was tasty and generous. The on‑site restaurant offered a solid menu at reasonable prices. We’re already missing it and can’t wait to return.

“Mooi hotel vlakbij strand!”

This clean hotel is close to the beach. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious. There’s an outdoor terrace with chairs and loungers. The hotel has its own restaurant. It’s 1 km from Schildpaddenstrand, but we actually saw turtles swimming right by our hotel, which feels more natural than the popular, crowded beaches where they’re lured.

The people, place, and food were wonderful. The staff were absolutely the best. We arrived in the off‑season (July) and the hotel felt almost exclusively ours. We could swim in the bay and the weather was perfect for Northern Europeans. Many thanks for a fantastic stay.

“Would 100% recommend this hotel (esp the sea view rooms) if you plan on visiting Unawatuna beach!”

The property is located directly on the beachfront, making beach access a breeze for me and my family. We were greeted warmly upon arrival, received coconut water, and the staff helped with our luggage. We stayed in the “family room with sea view” on the second floor; the room and attached bathroom were clean and comfortable, and the balcony offered a picturesque view of the shore. Breakfast was lovely, with a wonderful, immersive view of the beach. A special shout‑out to the polite and friendly staff: Lathika at reception and Florence who served breakfast; both were incredibly helpful and accommodating.
